So Will I
Thoughts from Psalm 104 in the Passion translation.
I’m just so humbled, in awe of God. His creation is beautiful - but it’s no match for the Creator. To think that God, the Creator of all things, sees me…knows me…loves me…actually talks to me…has plans for me…empowers me…gifted me…It’s all just overwhelming. He could have just created us, but He chose to love us. He could have just created us, but He chose to craft each and every one of us. He could have just created us, but He chose to send His Son to die. He could have stopped at Creation and it would have been enough, but He chose so much more, He chose heaven. I don’t know about you, but that makes me weak in the knees to think that He stops time for me. He speaks to me, a girl from a little town in New Mexico. In this entire great big universe, He still takes my breath away in a moment. As tears run down my cheeks, my heart falls more in love with the God that could have just created me, but He didn’t stop there.
I encourage you to listen to the song “So Will I” by Hillsong Worship. It puts words to how I feel after reading this Psalm. Let it minister to your heart and let it become our anthem.
